The dam, Obsession VH, was awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old. She is a *** performance mare with a dressage breeding index of 145, representing mare family 31, a powerful maternal line that has produced numerous successful competition horses, premium mares, and licensed stallions over several decades. Her daughters Verdicchia VH (by Vivino) and Succession VH (by So Perfect) were both awarded a premium in dressage at young horse tests. Bellissima VH and Belissima II VH (by Be Sure) were sold at the SWB Elite Foal Auction.

The grand-dam, Darling II VH, was awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old and has achieved Elite status through her progeny. She is a *** performance mare with an outstanding dressage breeding index of 158. Her eldest offspring, Mr Grey VH (by Grey Flanell), received a premium in dressage and won the Breeders Trophy as both a 4- and 5-year-old. She also produced the licensed stallion Rosebank VH 1469 (by Revolution), who was runner-up in the Breeders Trophy as a 4-year-old and now competes in the USA with Grand Prix rider Katie Duerrhammer. Rossese VH (by Revolution) received a premium in dressage at the young horse test, and Mr Grey II VH 1521 (by Grey Flanell) was licensed as a premium stallion at this year's performance test.

The great-granddam, Dakarta VH, was awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old and is an Elite Mare. She is also a *** performance mare with a dressage index of 148. Among her eleven offspring is Darcia VH (by Danone I), who was awarded a premium in dressage and has competed in international Grand Prix dressage with Jeanna Högberg. Four additional offspring received a premium in dressage, including Singleton VH (by Blue Hors Hotline), competing at Prix St. Georges, and Dufftown VH (by Dalwhinnie), competing at M-level. Darling VH (by Dalwhinnie) placed in the Breeders Trophy for 4-year-olds.

Proud James won the 2025 World Young Horse Championships for 5-year-olds with an extraordinary 90.6%. He began his career as a Premium Stallion in Danish Warmblood, 
followed by a stallion test in the Netherlands, achieving a record-high 91/100, with exclusively 9s and 10s in marks. His offspring are still very young but have already sold for high prices at auctions. Proud James is by the young Jameson RS2, who has already made a significant impact both as a competition horse and as a sire.
