The dam, Happinesse, comes from mare family 43 and is an Elite mare. She produced Deveron (by Dragon Welt), Allium (by Danone I), and Avium (by Springbank II VH), all awarded dressage premiums as young horses.

The great-granddam Gazelle received a dressage premium as a three-year-old and was later awarded Elite for her offspring's achievements. She produced Grace (by Majim G) and Fajans (by Figaro R), both of which were awarded dressage premiums. Gyarados (by Sack) received a dressage premium at the young horse test and later placed in Intermediaire I dressage. Gigantine (by Saigon) received premiums as both a jumping and dressage talent as a three-year-old and was later awarded Elite for her offspring’s merits. Zaphire (by Blue Hors Zack) has placings in M-level B dressage.

Racoon placed fifth in the 5-year-old final at the 2022 World Young Horse Championships with 8.82 points, including 9.0 for trot, suppleness, and future potential. He was then purchased by Lövsta Stud, immediately appealing to Swedish breeders, and has been one of the most used dressage sires in recent years. During the 2024–2025 winter season, he competed successfully in Wellington with rider Caroline Darcourt, achieving results up to Intermediaire I. He is licensed in SWB and approved in several other foreign studbooks and has so far produced one approved son. His dam is a sister to two Grand Prix dressage horses and one 1.60m show jumper. His sire, Hero, competes at S-level dressage.

The option to have the foal stay with the breeder after weaning is available.
