The dam, Java af Ekeby, was awarded a premium in dressage, scoring 9 for trot, with a dressage index of 153. Sired by the successful Dante Weltino OLD, her pedigree also includes the influential Rousseau and Jazz. Her first foal, Juli af Ekeby (by So Perfect), received high foal scores and was placed in the foal championship.

The grand-dam, Jellybean for U, sold as a foal at the SWB Elite Foal Auction, is a *** performance mare. She was awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old and has achieved Elite status based on the performance of her progeny. She produced Ferrione af Ekeby (by For Romance I) and Jewel af Ekeby (by Blue Hors Kingston), both awarded a premium in dressage. Kenos af Ekeby (by Knock-Out) sold at the SWB Elite Foal Auction 2022.

The great-granddam, Wosila, is an Elite Mare. Her offspring include Danisco for U (by Bocelli), who competed in the Breeders Trophy as a five-year-old and later in international Young Rider classes at Intermediaire I level with Norwegian rider Kaja Rogstad. Wosila also produced Honeycrunch for U (by Zuidenwind), awarded a premium in dressage.

Söbakkehus First Mover comes from one of Denmark’s strongest dam lines. His granddam, Söbakkehus Mia Bella, won the Danish 4-year-old Championship and then competed successfully at Grand Prix. Her daughters have produced three approved stallions: Söbakkehus First Mover, Hesselhöj Double Up, and Hesselhöj Gnags, the latter being a Premium Stallion and the second most expensive stallion ever at the Herning auction (€125,000). Söbakkehus First Mover’s full sister was named Mare of the Year in Danish Warmblood in 2024. His sire, Blue Hors Fifty Cent (by Franziskus), was a Premium Stallion in Danish Warmblood and highly successful in young horse competitions, scoring 95.4% in a qualifying class as a 4-year-old.
