The dam, Kontica, produced Kointreau DH (by Quaterhit), who was runner-up in the Breeders Trophy for 4-year-olds in 2024.

The grand-dam, Kontiki, was awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old. She produced Koronis (by First Wish), awarded a premium in dressage as a young horse.

The great-granddam, Korina, received a premium in dressage as a three-year-old and later achieved Elite status based on the merits of her progeny. Among her offspring are Katzy (by Hertigen), awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old, and later competing in the National 3-year-old mare championships. She also received performance premiums in both dressage and jumping at her young horse test. Korina also produced Kame (by Nocturne), awarded a premium in dressage as a three-year-old and an Elite Mare.

Racoon placed fifth in the 5-year-old final at the 2022 World Young Horse Championships with 8.82 points, including 9.0 for trot, suppleness, and future potential. He was then purchased by Lövsta Stud, immediately appealing to Swedish breeders, and has been one of the most used dressage sires in recent years. During the 2024–2025 winter season, he competed successfully in Wellington with rider Caroline Darcourt, achieving results up to Intermediaire I. He is licensed in SWB and approved in several other foreign studbooks and has so far produced one approved son. His dam is a sister to two Grand Prix dressage horses and one 1.60m show jumper. His sire, Hero, competes at S-level dressage.
