Sebastian – Registered Gypsy Vanner Gelding
Sebastian is a stunning 6-year-old registered Gypsy Vanner gelding whom we have had the privilege of having in our training program for the past year.
Sebastian has put a lot of miles under his belt, both in the arena and out on the trail. He will cross water and logs, has been on overnight camping trips, stood quietly on a picket line, and consistently handles new environments and different atmospheres with confidence.
He has excellent ground manners and is easy to work with. Sebastian stands quietly for the farrier, bathing, saddling, mounting, and everyday handling. He will even pick you up at the mounting block and stand patiently for an easy, comfortable mount.
Under saddle, Sebastian has very nice movement and carries himself with style, making him an eye-catching horse wherever you take him. He is also comfortable and enjoyable to ride.
He will ride one-handed, has a strong understanding of leg cues and neck reining, and is sensitive and responsive to his rider. His responsiveness and willingness make him a fun horse to continue teaching and developing into more advanced maneuvers.
Sebastian is every bit as versatile as he is gorgeous. His striking presence and eye-catching looks are sure to turn heads and make him stand out wherever you take him. A Word From Sebastian’s Owners
Sebastian has been part of our family and farm for the past five years. We purchased him as a yearling, and he was raised here on our 160-acre farm, with approximately 30 acres of pasture, where he grew up in a herd alongside other horses. He has always had the sweetest teddy-bear personality, and our family has truly enjoyed having him.
As Gypsy Vanner breeders, we are very selective about the horses we keep, so having Sebastian with us for five years speaks volumes about his quality, temperament, and character. We are proud of the horse he has become.
A year ago, KNM Horsemanship moved into our barn and began working with Sebastian. They have done an incredible job developing and finishing him, introducing him to the show arena and ranch classes while building on the solid foundation he already had. He is exceptionally well-finished in trail riding and is quiet, willing, and enjoyable to ride in the arena.
We are very grateful for everything KNM Horsemanship has poured into Sebastian and feel they have prepared him wonderfully for his next chapter.
