Obwohl er im Herdenverbund mit 6 weiteren Youngstern aufwächst, ist er immer einer der ersten, der auf uns zuläuft und Kontakt aufnimmt. Freixenet kommt mütterlicherseits über die Ermitaño Linie (Escalera), mit einem Schuss Deco, d.h. die sportliche Yeguada Militar Linie. Der Vater ist Araval Ducal, ein von uns gezogener Hengst mit drei hervoragenden Grundgangarten. Freixenet präsentiert sich als Allrounder, leichtfüßig, mit aktiver Hinterhand. Einige seiner Halbbrüder mütterlicherseits sind erfolgreich im Dressursport unterwegs. Aber auch Working Equitation sollte Freixenet leicht fallen. Freixenet kommt direkt vom Züchter, einem der größten PRE Gestüte Deutschlands. Er hat somit auch keine Piroplasmose, kennt Weidegang und wurde mit hochwertigem Futter aufgezogen.
