Just saddle broke, but he can jump

Stacks by Roosberg will turn four years old in 2026 and has only been under saddle for a few weeks. He is clearly still green in his work, but already shows a very good mentality. This is not a horse for a beginner amateur to ride independently right away. He needs some time to build confidence and routine under saddle and to get to know his rider.

When jumping along the wall under the rider, he clearly shows where his quality lies: we cannot build high enough and he jumps it with ease. He shows a lot of push, scope and quality, combined with a good attitude. This confirms that you are truly buying a showjumping horse.

Our advice is to keep him in professional training for about one more month with a breaking-in rider. This can also be arranged by the seller/breeder. This will make him calmer and easier to handle, also with a view to a less experienced rider in the future. The foundation is there: mentality, scope and quality. The rest is education and time.

Sire Arezzo VDL (Chin Chin x Constant) competed himself at 1.60m level and is a proven international sire. His offspring include VDL Edgar M (1.65m), Farezzio (1.65m) and Equine America Harwich VDL (1.65m). A sire line known for scope, reflexes and mentality.

Dam Kaloutina van het Maaskantje (Grand Slam VDL) competed at 1.25m level and comes from an exceptionally strong performance family. This damline has produced many horses competing at 1.30m to 1.45m, including Galoutina C (1.45m CSI), Lightspot van het Maaskantje (1.45m, winner in the USA), Itina (1.45m, CSN USA), Metina van het Maaskantje (1.35m) and Liarado van het Maaskantje (1.30m), as well as several internationally placed horses.

The further damline through Aretina M (Indoctro, 1.35m) and Retina M (Cash) confirms the consistent sport production of this family.

Stacks by Roosberg combines top pedigree, scope and mentality. A young horse that still needs education, but already clearly shows he is built for the sport of showjumping.
