The five-year-old Octavus Eickenrode has show experience at 1.00m level. He can be a bit sharp, but he is well-behaved on the jump. Experience shows that these are often the horses that become winners later on.

Sire is Harley VDL, who performed at 1.55m level himself and passes on a lot of quality to his offspring. His dam Larthago (1.50m level) gave birth to four 1.60m Grand Prix horses, including the approved stallions Casago and Dimitri.

Dam Boracific VDL (Indorado) is an elite performance mare who jumped 1.30m courses. She is also the dam of four international showjumping horses at 1.30-1.40m level. Granddam Pacific (Indoctro) gave birth to the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Ferrari VDL and four showjumping horses at 1.30-1.35m level.

Great-granddam Shoraya (Ladykiller xx) is known as the dam of the stallion N-Aldato (1.60m Grand Prix). She also is the basis of a damline that gave several approved 1.60m Grand Prix stallions, including Bubalu VDL, Pessoa VDL, Montreal VDL, Edminton Z, Wizzerd WV and S&L Exxon Hedonist.
