"If you’ve been searching for that good-looking, gentle, dependable trail horse the whole family can enjoy, Tuf is the kind that’s hard to come by!
Tuf is an 11-year-old Kentucky Mountain gelding with that beautiful blue roan color, a solid build, and the disposition to match. He’s the type of horse that makes riding enjoyable — quiet-minded, willing, smooth, and easy to get along with.
⭐ SMOOTH GAITED — Tuf has a comfortable, natural gait that you can sit and enjoy all day. Whether you’re cruising down the trail or covering some ground, he makes for an easy ride.
⭐ FAMILY-RIDDEN — One of the biggest compliments we can give Tuf is that our 9-year-old daughter rides him with ease. He’s sensible, forgiving, and doesn’t require someone constantly picking at him to keep him manageable.
⭐ TRAIL PROVEN — This gelding is right at home on the trails. He’ll cross water, handle different terrain, ride through the woods and go wherever you point him. He has the kind of willing attitude you want when you leave the arena and head out for a day of riding.
⭐ TRAFFIC SAFE — Tuf has been exposed to traffic and handles it sensibly. He’s not the type that needs everything around him to be perfect before you can enjoy your ride.
⭐ QUIET & WILLING — From carrying a young rider to stepping over obstacles and tackling the trail, Tuf shows the kind of level-headed nature we really appreciate in a horse. He wants to please and takes things in stride.
And as the pictures show, Tuf isn’t just a trail horse — he’s a sharp-looking gelding, too. That blue roan coat, dark points, long mane and tail, and stout Kentucky Mountain build make him one you’ll be proud to ride anywhere.
Tuf would make an excellent choice for someone wanting a seasoned, smooth-gaited trail partner without all the nonsense. He’s the kind you can saddle up, point down the trail and simply enjoy.
