If you are looking for a horse who’s tall, dark, handsome and who wants to be your best friend, I would like to introduce you to Cole. He is a beautifully jet black, 6 year old, Friesian Sport Horse gelding. He is sired by Darth and out of a Percheron Friesian X mare. Cole stands at 16.1hh and is put together perfectly. He has a long thick mane and tail and light feathering on his legs. If Cole was a human, he would be the life of the party and the guy everyone wants to know. If you walk out to the field and say his name, he comes running every time. If you pass his stall, he tilts his head sideways and pokes his adorable nose out to say hi! He just loaded with a curious personality. If you ask He’s a total people pleaser. He has been trained with natural horsemanship methods. Cole is very well broke walk, trot, and canter. He knows his leads and has easy transitions both up and down. He rides in a simple snaffle and will move off of seat and leg pressure. Cole has a very well balanced canter and holds his rhythm with little guidance from his rider. Cole is schooling basic dressage moves and shows great potential. He also jumps around inside and out in fantastic form. He will not shy away from the jumps and is very easy to find a distance on. He has been used in the English part of our lesson program for the past year, where he has been teaching kiddos the basics of jumping while continuing to jump higher with his more seasoned rider. While slow and steady is his jam, he is a great mix of whoah and go! He will never rush the jumps he will hold a steady canter right around the course. He has been out on the back roads and ridden around some of Michigan’s beautiful hunt country. Brush, hills, water, dogs, traffic, wildlife, all no issue. Cole is also broke to drive and looks stunning pulling a carriage. This is the type that will be right there for you all day, every day and do everything in his power to please. He has also been on several hunter paces in Michigans picturesque hunt country. He’s safe, he’s sensible, he’s full of personality, and he is ready to find his person!
