Putting a horse like Haze into words is a very difficult task. He is the kind of horse every young person dreams of and what every family prays to find. He’s the perfect large pony / small horse size that fits everyone, and on top of that he has the fancy friesian cross looks. And at just 5yrs old, he has a lifetime ahead of him, and a heart that wants nothing more than to spend all of his time doing anything and everything with you. He is the epitome of fun, versatile, broke, safe, and willing.



Haze was bred, born and raised here locally by good friends of mine, so this little horse carries the hearts of many people with him and we can speak for his history. He was allowed the time to grow up and mature out to pasture, not started too early, never pushed, and there are no holes in him physically and soundness wise, or training wise. This horse is well versed int he arena……soft int he face, works off leg, side passes, lopes right off on cue, collects up or extends out, and is always the same old reliable Haze each time you swing a leg over him. He rides bridle less, bareback, double, in a snaffle, bridle bit, English or western, and literally does anything you ask of him, and takes any and all foolishness you can throw at him with a happy and willing attitude. He is great with a tarp, carrying the flag, dragging anything behind him, people crawling all over or under him, and he is great with kids, commotion and is easy easy easy to ride and uncomplicated in every way. He’s a stout built 14.1hh, so he fits all sizes and ages of riders.



Haze has also spent a lot of time outside logging many miles of riding down the roads, and on trails. He’s great outside whether alone or in a group, loves water, and is good with traffic. This gelding is just flat out fun to have, and he thoroughly enjoys people and every minute he gets to spend with you, no matter what you are asking of him. He’s always willing, always kind, always eager to please, always trustworthy and always happy to be with you. He is also broke to drive single, and is lovely in harness, however, the past year or so he has spent more time under saddle than in harness, so he will may require a refresher in that department.



In the barn Haze is as easy a keeper as you could ask for. He requires no special cares, maintenance or dietary needs. He stays healthy and plump on just hay, enjoys his turnout time, gets along with every horse he meets, and is tidy in a stall. Easy to bathe, clip, ties, cross ties, and meets at the gate every time. He is UTD on all cares including dental work, and coggins.
