Squidward or (Talebar Permafrost) is just about the sweetest horse you can meet. He is a 5-year-old 14.3-hand registered AQHA and FQHA gelding.
Not only does he have the looks, but he also has some nice breeding. He has the prettiest movement you can ask for. And I think he would excel in western dressage.
He tries very hard and is one of the best I’ve had. He has been off property a couple of times and always gets stairs and wows. He has the best brain you can ask for and is always willing to learn. He is not spooky, has no buck, bolt, or rear. Also moves off the leg.
He has a beautiful trot and canter. He is a joy to be around, and everybody always stops to look at him. He stands in the cross ties for the vet and Ferrier. He bathes, loads, leads, and lunges. He also knows how to lie down on command. And will smile for cookies. He carries the flag walks over tarps and bridges I have shot a bow and arrow off of him. And you can lead him with the golf cart. He rides English western and bareback. Has been ridden bitless and bridleless. He is usually ridden by more experienced riders, but has also been ridden by novice and amateur riders.
Squidward has no vices or medical issues and has current PPE. The only thing he has is a scar on his butt, which causes him no trouble at all, just something to notice (it was there when we got him, and his previous owner said he got it as a yearling). He is an easy keeper. Will go out with mares and geldings. And is lower on the totem pole. He has never taken a lame step or gotten himself injured. Just an easy-going chill guy.
Squidward has been off-property multiple times for local rodeos, arena hires, and trail riding. In my opinion, I think he is better off property. His favorite thing to do is to go trail riding. He will lead, follow, go through water, over logs, and ditches. He loves the challenge. He has also started a little bit of jumping and barrel racing. And has picked up both well. He is truly going to be a great all-around Horse. And will succeed any route you put him on.
The only reason I am selling him is that I originally bought him for my sister. But life happened, and she decided she didn’t want to do horses anymore, and I do not have the time or space right now. If I did, I would definitely keep him and show him all summer.
