Compadre is everyones friend. He is a solid broke ranch gelding. He has had many miles and hours of experience on the ranch and as a trail horse. He has an excellent handle but is very gentle and kind. He is one that fits the whole family. It doesn’t matter if you’re needing him on cold snowy day when the cows get out or you’re going out for a sunny summer trail ride he is the same horse every time. He saddles up quiet even with time off and no matter what the weather is. Compadre goes through the trail course with ease, he lopes nice circles, slow easy and low headed. He hunts a stop and has a good roll back. He is smooth to ride in all gaits. He watches a cow and is fun to ride both out on the range sorting or working in the pens, he is easy to open and close gates, excellent side pass, good one handed neck rein. Compadre has done all aspect of ranch work, he’s seasoned on the trail whether you want ranch horse for everyday work or a pretty trail horse to ride once a month he’s the one for you. He doesn’t need a daily job but he doesn’t complain if you give him one. He is happy to ride out alone or in a group. He has no vices or bad habits. He is easy to catch. He has had a basic PPE, up to date on worming, dental and farrier. We welcome you to do your own PPE and to come to the ranch a to meet Compadre. We also are glad to help arrange transportation.
