Een prachtige, moderne, compacte merrieveulen. Ze is de dochter van Emerald van 't Ruytershof, een uitstekende hengst en springpaard die schitterde onder het zadel van Harry Smolders. De zonen van Emerald nemen deel aan de belangrijkste wedstrijden ter wereld. De moeder van Edamame Z heeft op 1,30 m-niveau gesprongen en komt uit een uitstekende moederlijn, waaronder de 1,60 m GP-springpaard GP Finnegan D. Andere nakomelingen zijn Lionell, gereden door Ahmad Saber Hamcho, Casper, Thierry M en O-Alcantara. Dit veulen heeft alle kwaliteiten om in de toekomst een uitstekend sportpaard te worden.
