It is with a heavy heart that I am offering my last show-jumping horse for sale. As I am no longer allowed to jump following a serious medical incident, I am looking for a new home for my *2020-born pinto gelding “Teddy”, whom I took over from his breeder last year.
He is by Ilan x Diathago and measures approximately 17.1 hh.
Teddy is ready to compete at a solid German A-level and is not spooky; he is lovely to ride, although he has not yet competed. He has an impressive jump and is forgiving if his rider makes the occasional mistake. He has received versatile training and is familiar with everything, including training at outside facilities, hacking, bathing in the Ems River, as well as using a treadmill and aqua trainer. He loads and lunges without any problems.
Under saddle, Teddy is a rather calm horse with generous movement and plenty of rideability. He is not overly concerned with his surroundings and gives even an insecure or nervous rider a safe feeling. He only likes to play a lot with the other geldings when turned out. He is barefoot and lives in an open barn together with a retired old gelding.
With his exceptionally beautiful markings and two-toned mane, Teddy is a real head-turner. As a tri-coloured pinto of this size, he is an absolute rarity. At the same time, he combines versatile athleticism with a pleasantly calm temperament.
For Teddy, we would ideally like to find an experienced leisure rider who can provide him with daily turnout in a loving forever home where he will be part of the family.
A veterinary pre-purchase examination is available. Teddy is sound and doing very well barefoot with us. He is fully vaccinated, regularly dewormed and has had his teeth treated. He has also been seen regularly by a chiropractor and farrier.
A swap, part exchange or loan arrangement is absolutely not an option.
Please contact us *exclusively by telephone* on 0176 - 61284.
