Meet Sundae’s Golden Zemira aka Goldie, a gorgeous buckskin dun 6-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse Mare standing at 14.3 hands tall. Goldie is an advanced beginner, safe, or, as some people say, spouse safe. She has a very smooth gait and a nice, smooth little canter. So she is perfect for putting a beginner on and having them follow along behind, because with Goldie, you don’t need to learn to post! Just sit back and enjoy the ride. And she is the type of horse that takes care of her rider, she’s very safe and has a been there, done that attitude.

Goldie has literally been there and done that everywhere. She has seen everything there is to see out on the trails. She is fine with wildlife. Will cross any water, logs, bridges, etc. She will take the steep hills and banks with ease. And she picks her way down the steep hills carefully.

She will leave home alone separate out on the trails away from the other horses. She can lead or follow. She is safe and sane and is the same horse if you let her sit a month in between rides. She is fine with traffic I have ridden her down the road with cars, trucks, and atvs flying by and she never blinks an eye.

She is more Whoa than go and is the kind you can ride with your quarter horse friends. She has a nice stout build like a quarter horse, too.

She has good ground manners and stands still for tacking and mounting. She loads right in the trailer and backs right out. She is lower on the pecking order. She’s friendly and easy to catch.

Goldie is at a prime age where she’s still young and can go out and do the trails, but old enough to have that experience under her cinch. She’s one you can just relax and enjoy yourself with and she’s the same whether you ride her every day or let her sit with time off in between rides.
