Shire Horse Zuchtstute

For various personal reasons, I am discontinuing my small Shire breeding program. This decision is incredibly difficult for me, but I must now take the first step.  
Our Sammy (Whitewater Gem), a beautiful, large-framed mare in chocolate brown, with full papers from the SHS, is not the youngest at 15 years old, but she is in great shape, has never been sick, and has given us some wonderful foals. After a year of "foal break," she is now in foal again by Middle Meadow Morgan, due in May 2026. She has always had completely problem-free births.  
Sammy lives in a herd in an open stable but is also familiar with box stalls. Being alone is not a problem for her, and she holds a middle position in the herd. Of course, she has been regularly vaccinated and dewormed; she is accustomed to the veterinarian, farrier, and trailer, and she handles everything excellently. And yes, although she has no other vices, there is one thing she dislikes: having her hooves picked up, farrier work, and having her legs brushed—none of these are a problem! However, when someone tries to apply a finger full of ointment or similar to her legs, she does not find that amusing. This has improved significantly over time, and if you place her between a tie-up and a wall, there are no issues. Anyone who would like to get to know Sammy despite this small quirk is welcome to visit us at the farm. I sincerely hope that Sammy finds a lovely new home through this. A good home is more important than price!
