Yegua pony para montar

For sale due to a change in my riding plans: my 7-year-old German Riding Pony mare, Goldmarie. She is a very sensitive and intuitive mare, but still needs consistency and structure. I have had her since she was a foal; she has always been kept in an open stable, is very social, and needs regular turnout. She tolerates box stall keeping, but becomes impatient quickly and starts knocking at the door, etc. 

24-hour hay is unfortunately not ideal for her, but I cannot offer her anything else, which has resulted in her being quite overweight. She also requires limited pasture turnout, as is typical for ponies. 

She has been gently backed and is very responsive to aids, but over the past year, she has mostly been worked from the ground or ridden out. She is capable of going alone or in a group into the terrain, but can be somewhat spooky. 

Overall, she is not suitable for beginners or children; you should be confident in the saddle and experienced with young horses. 

In 2024, she suffered from placentitis, which unfortunately led to a stillbirth. She was treated and flushed afterward, but we decided not to breed her again. Whether she could be used for breeding should be carefully evaluated beforehand. 

She is shod in front because our terrain is very stony and includes a lot of road work. She behaves impeccably with farrier and veterinarian. 

Loading onto a trailer is generally no problem. 

I am selling Goldi only because she is too precious to stand around doing nothing and keeps gaining weight. Perhaps she will get the chance with someone who appreciates her and works with her properly.
