Vermutlich hat BumbleBee in seiner Vergangenheit leider sehr schlechte Erfahrungen machen müssen, die uns beim Ankauf verschwiegen wurden. Nach fachlicher Einschätzung wird dieses Verhalten bei BumbleBee nur durch einen Profi auf Dauer händelbar sein. Daher wird BumbleBee ausdrücklich als nicht reitbar angeboten. Im Zuge des Aufklärungsversuches der "Druckempfindlichkeit" konnten Magenprobleme (durch Gastroskopie) und Rückenbeschwerden (durch Röntgenbilder) ausgeschlossen werden. BumbleBee wurde von uns nach pro-ride Horsemanship / Thomas Günter auf dem Boden ausgebildet und desensibilisiert. Arbeit mit der Longe sowie die Freiarbeit kennt er. Er ist neugierig und unerschrocken. Entsprechend entspannt ist er auch gerne im Gelände unterwegs. Grundsätzlich ist BumbleBee ein sehr menschenbezogener, netter und freundlicher Freizeitpartner mit einem großen Herz, der gerne auf dem Boden arbeitet. Dabei ist er total unkompliziert. Er ist ein verlässlicher Begleiter im Gelände; am Boden. Da er im Gelände sehr sicher und unerschrocken unterwegs ist, wäre auch eine Nutzung als Kutschpferd denkbar. Wir haben bei uns leider keine Möglichkeit, das auszuprobieren. BumbleBee ist rangniedrig und gegenüber seinen Artgenossen freundlich und neugierig. Aktuell steht BumbleBee in einer Box mit Außenpaddock. Er kennt aber auch den Offenstall. Das Stockmaß von BumbleBee ist etwa 1,58 m. Er besitzt einen spanischen Equidenpass, wurde regelmäßig geimpft (Influenza, Herpes, Tetanus), entwurmt und wird als Barhufer alle 4 Wochen dem Huforthopäden vorgestellt; dort ist er absolut schmiedefromm. Eine jährliche Zahnkontrolle (zuletzt 11/2025) erfolgte ebenfalls. Den Tierarzt empfängt er stets entspannt. Unterjährig hat er temporär (Pollensaison) Atemwegsprobleme mit Husten und bekommt bei uns daher gewässertes Heu. Aktuell ist er beschwerdefrei. Wir wünschen uns für BumbleBee ein neues Sterne-Zuhause, wo man Spaß an der Bodenarbeit hat, oder aber wo er als Handpferd, oder zu Fuß mit seinem Menschen draußen unterwegs sein kann.
