Santa Fe is a 4 year old Haflinger x Paint gelding standing 14.2 hands high. He’s a confidence building size, with the brains of a draft horse, and the ability to do just about any job or discipline you can dream up. Santa Fe will jump around a course, do kids lessons, loves to be out on the cross country field, and is a reliable partner on the trails too! He is trick trained, has all of the lateral work, and is just as happy being a show pony as he is being a family horse.

In the ring, Santa Fe is a fun and easy ride. He does lessons weekly with the kids, can do second level dressage tests, and jumps around a course of jumps. He has easy transitions, picks up both leads, and is schooling his changes. Over fences he is honest and simple. He has been introduced to all kinds of jumps, filler, and cross country fences, and is easily putting together full courses. Santa Fe is light and easy to ride round in the bridle, and will also ride around on a loose rein. He can take a joke and is very solid no matter the rider on his back.

On the trails and off property, Santa Fe is reliable and safe. We have trail ridden him extensively, gone on camping trips, and have done obstacle and trail obstacle course challenges with him! He is so much fun to take new places and try new things with. He comes off the trailer quiet and relaxed, ready for whatever you want to do that day. On the trails, he is steady and sure footed. He crosses water, is safe in traffic, and will cross any obstacle you may come across. He will ride alone or in a group, and is happy to lead or ride in the pack.

In the barn, Santa Fe is sweet and loves attention. He is constantly being loved on by the kids and their friends. He has a great, sweet personality and everyone loves him! He is a good boy for all the usual barn tasks, and is happy living inside or out. Santa Fe is an easy keeper that requires no maintenance and has no vices. He is overall a pleasure to have at the farm.

♦️Our program produces versatile and family-friendly horses for all disciplines and levels of the sport. While at our farm, every horse is handled, ridden, and loved by us and our children. We make sure our horses are well versed in trail riding, going off property, attending clinics and lessons, and some go to horse shows, and fox hunt. This is a family operation priding ourselves in finding and producing quality family, amateur friendly horses for all ages and disciplines!
