Check out this stunning boy! ✨ Django ✨ is an 11-year-old, 15.3–16hh Paint gelding. This guy has all the right markings, and he’s put together very nicely. He rides English, Western, he’s a trail master, and he drives! He’s sweet and respectful on the ground, and he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body! On the trail, Django always has a happy-go-lucky attitude. His ears are always perked forward! He has a forward way of thinking; however, he’s not one to run away with you. He’s a brave one and will gladly lead the group—through anything! He’ll go through water, bridges, ditches, mountains, and tunnels. He’s seen deer, hikers, dogs, bicycles, flags, traffic, and just about everything else you can think of while out on the trail! He’s sensible, sure-footed, and steady. He has lots of miles under his belt and has primarily done trail work as his job! He loves it and is never the type of horse to try to get out of work. He would make an ideal candidate for hunter paces, fox hunting, and paper chases! In the ring, Django has been learning a lot with us! He’s smart as a whip and seems to learn more with every ride. He’s always willing to learn and happy to work. He hasn’t had a lot of experience in the ring, but he has a solid WTC in both directions. He moves off leg, responsive to leg to side pass, and spin. He knows the difference between using leg to move forward- versus off of it. He’s been smoothing out his transitions, his trot is adjustable, and he’s so fun to ride! We could see him excelling in dressage with his naturally fancy way of moving, forward-thinking attitude, and willingness to learn. Django has also been lightly started over jumps and could definitely progress in that direction. He’s been cross-country schooling and was honest and straightforward. With more muscle building and direction, we have no doubt he’ll be an absolute star! He’s not suited for complete beginners at this time—solely because of his forward, responsive nature. However, for a confident junior or adult amateur who likes a self-motivated horse, he would be a perfect fit! He’s not dangerous or naughty in any way, shape, or form. In the barn, Django is always sweet and easy to handle. The kids can lead him, groom him, braid his mane, and pick his feet! He’s such a gem—truly a kind-hearted horse who can continue in any direction! Django is UTD on Shots, Coggins, Dentist, Deworming, and Farrier.
