Sam Elliot was dubbed his famous name because of his old school cool attitude and authentic western look. With golden locks of shoulder length mane and a forelock to his nostrils he is undoubtedly a lady’s man sure to steal the hearts of anyone who sees him!
Unfazed by traffic, dogs, lights, and commotion he is a terrific mount for parades, shows, and paydays! He’s been there and done that with a resume full of long hard days working cattle on various ranches across the Texas panhandle.
Trails are his specialty and you won’t find a more sure-footed and brave horse to take you over through and across any terrain you can muster!
Has a gliding trot easy to sit or post and will lope right out of his tracks if asked. Elliot prefers a nice easy going pace and will ride anywhere in the group or boldly out alone. Neck reins or direct reins, has been hacked around in English tack as well with zero defiance. Side passes to open and close gates, backs off the trailer, loves a good warm bubble bath and cookies!
