Great reliable horse with a super character!

Sabo is a wonderful and handsome gelding, born in 2011 and approximately 169cm tall. He comes from the Ganschow stud and was professionally trained in A-level dressage there. He is absolutely clear-headed, has a balanced and calm demeanor, and sometimes asks if he can make decisions - but if you are consistent, he accepts this immediately. 
He is a bit afraid of cows (which can possibly be worked on with calmness and patience). Sabo loves trail rides in company but also goes out alone. He knows and loves small jumps, is familiar with lunging, loads well onto the trailer, and is very well-behaved with the farrier.

A vet check from 2017 is available with no findings. In January 2025, a suspensory ligament injury was diagnosed on the right hind leg; the leg is now cold and there is a good recovery status. In September 2025, a final ultrasound will be done, and then a plan will be created for how he can trot and subsequently canter. 
At the moment, he is being exercised at the walk, including trail rides and walks in nature, bathing, light groundwork, etc. He has been doing this very well for a few months. Otherwise, he immediately responds to what is asked of him and can be ridden by anyone.

In the future, he should not be trotted or cantered for hours daily in a small indoor arena. Daily walking is not a problem, hard ground is good, and shorter trotting and cantering sessions in the field or on the arena after about 20 minutes of warming up will definitely be possible again.

A dressage saddle (17.5 inches, medium width) from Loxley from 2019 and a VS saddle from Canaves One (18 inches, medium width), bridle (Micklem Bridle), various halters, reins, lead ropes, saddle pads, winter blankets, hoof boots, and various small items can be purchased for an additional cost of approximately €2,500.
