Trail Gaited Driving Safe Kentucky Mountain Gelding

Razor is an 11-year-old Kentucky Mountain Horse gelding. He stands 15 hands tall and has a good, thick build. Razor has that very natural, smooth Kentucky mountain horse gait, which lets you sit and ride all day long. Razor came to us from eastern Kentucky, where he has logged hundreds of trail miles in some of the roughest terrain Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia offer. Razor is a horse that most of the family can ride and get along with. He has enough motor to ride those 6-7 hour rides in the mountains, but is also laid back and gentle enough for the more inexperienced riders. You do not have to know much about riding a gaited horse to get along with Razor because he is set in his gait. There is no fancy shoeing or bit required! He stands to mount and dismount. He hauls, shoes, bathes, and stands tied very well. He gets along great with other horses out in the pasture. He’s been on overnight camping trips where he has been tied out on the picket line. We’ve used him to trail ride, ride through cattle, and check fences. He’s been ridden to and through town and out on main highways. Razor will also hook up in a one-horse wagon and drive. He is up to date on Coggins and can be shipped anywhere in the US. We can also hold him at our place for a few weeks after you purchase him, if that’s something you need.
