Haflingerstute „Shelly", 17 Jahre, ca. 150 cm Shelly ist eine super liebe, brave und lustige Haflingerstute mit viel Herz. Sie ist unkompliziert im Umgang und hat bisher als Schulpferd gearbeitet. Dabei hat sie sehr vielen Erwachsenen und Kindern vertrauensvoll das Reiten beigebracht. Leider hat Schelly in den letzten Jahren ein paar gesundheitliche Wehwechen entwickelt. • Cushing wurde diagnostiziert und medikamentös eingestellt • Hin und wieder fällt ihr bei bestimmten Wetterbedingungen das Atmen etwas schwer – wir unterstützen sie dann mit Inhalation • Orthopädisch keine Befunde, hier ist alles in Ordnung Reiterlich ist sie also nur noch bedingt einsetzbar. Für ihre Lunge ist regelmäßige Bewegung und erhöhte Ventilation wichtig und sie freut sich auch über Aufmerksamkeit und Bespaßung. Jedoch ist sportliche Arbeit nicht mehr möglich. Ausreiten und gelegentliche Dressur oder Stangenarbeit sind aber kein Problem. Uns ist wichtig, dass Shelly einen Platz findet, an dem sie ihren Lebensabend entspannt und liebevoll verbringen kann – Platz vor Preis. Aufgrund ihres ruhigen und freundlichen Gemüts, könnten wir sie uns auch gut als Therapiepferd vorstellen. Ein Verkauf an klassische Schulbetriebe oder Reitschulen ist aber definitiv ausgeschlossen. Unfortunately, Shelly has developed some health issues over the past few years. - Cushing's disease has been diagnosed and is managed with medication - Occasionally, she experiences mild breathing difficulties under certain weather conditions – we support her with inhalation therapy when needed - No orthopedic issues; everything is in order In terms of riding, she is now only suitable to a limited extent. For her lungs, regular movement and increased ventilation are important, and she also enjoys attention and stimulation. However, intensive work is no longer possible. Going out on rides and occasional dressage or pole work are not a problem. It is very important to us that Shelly finds a place where she can spend her retirement peacefully and lovingly – place before price. Due to her calm and friendly nature, we could also imagine her as a therapy horse. A sale to traditional riding schools or riding establishments is definitely excluded.
