Our beautiful 12.3 hh Welsh cross mare is looking for a new home.
Ice Ice Baby (Lucy) is very people-oriented and loves children.
She is ridden independently in walk and trot by my seven-year-old daughter, who rides sporadically, and remains well-behaved even after two weeks off.
She is neither particularly forward-going nor sluggish – actually, she is just right.
The canter is still a little difficult for her, but this will certainly improve with some practice.
She also really enjoys pole work and loose jumping.
Out hacking, she is calm, confident and curious. She loads bravely and is perfectly happy even when alone in the stable aisle.
The farrier and vet also cause her no problems.
Three to four years ago, before she came to us, Lucy must have suffered a fractured jaw. It healed with a bony growth on her lower jaw. This does not cause her any problems.
If you have any questions, just ask :-)
