Rebalon is a stunning PRE/Arabian gelding in the rare and beautiful special color bay roan. Born at the end of 2011, he measures approximately 15.3 hands and captivates with his distinctive presence, gentle nature, and deep bond with humans. He arrived from Spain at the age of four and has been lovingly cared for for nearly ten years. During this time, he has been gradually, gently, and variably trained — both in Western riding and classical-baroque dressage. Emphasis has always been placed on fine communication and a trusting partnership. Rebalon responds sensitively to seat, breathing, voice, and leg aids and was started under saddle with a relaxed rein. Under saddle, he demonstrates a calm, comfortable trot and a spacious, expressive walk. He has also been extensively ground-worked, including liberty work up to piaffe and flying changes, obstacle training, as well as trail and hack rides. Rebalon possesses a particularly sweet, human-oriented character. He is trusting, eager to learn, and always wants to please his handler. At the same time, he is a sensitive and somewhat introverted horse who requires a calm, fair, and empathetic *person*. Heavy hands, clinging legs, or insecure aids are not ignored by him. Therefore, we are looking for a finely riding person with a seat independent of the reins and good feel. He is not suitable for emotional, anxious, or insecure riders, nor for beginners. Health-wise, Rebalon is in excellent condition. He is healthy, with no known ailments, and his teeth and overall health are regularly checked. He has also been osteopathically examined. He is well-behaved and uncomplicated with the farrier and veterinarian. He has clear, straight legs, a strong foundation, and solid hooves, and has mostly been ridden barefoot. Currently, Rebalon lives in an open stable with a trail system in a mixed herd and is accustomed to plenty of free movement and turnout. He is not offered for box or solitary stabling. In the herd, he is lower in rank, so large groups tend to cause him stress. Due to health restrictions of his owner, he has been ridden less in recent years and mostly worked from the ground. Rebalon is a wonderful horse for someone seeking a versatile, finely trained, and human-oriented partner with heart. He forms a close bond with his handler and always strives to do everything right. This special horse is only being rehomed with the greatest reluctance and exclusively into the best hands.
