With a heavy heart, I am looking for a loving new home for our 10-year-old Criollo mare, "Calfiao Calida," due to my pregnancy.

She has been with us in a paddock trail for the past 8 years and has given us wonderful foals. In between, she has had the opportunity to learn a few things. She reliably carried me on numerous rides through varied terrain. She has participated in Centered Riding courses and has been trained using Linda Tellington Jones methods. Additionally, she has been introduced to clicker training and some groundwork and lunging work in a bitless bridle. Nonetheless, I am selling her as a riding horse, as she has primarily been a broodmare with us and still lacks the necessary routine.

She has a very gentle and fearless temperament, which makes me think she could also be well-suited for horse-assisted work after appropriate training. She would probably also make a wonderful trail riding horse. As a broodmare, I can also see her continuing in that role; she has always been a great mother here. She has been healthy throughout the years.

She is barefoot and has been ridden exclusively bitless so far.
