With a heavy heart, I am selling a truly special horse: Svardi is a sensitive, fearless, and wonderful horse—hardworking but not hurried, confident in the terrain, and very people-oriented. He is NOT suitable for beginners, as he needs a rider who can provide him with security—if I am okay, he is also okay. He is NOT a school horse, as he is very attached to one or two riders (currently ridden by me and my riding buddy, and occasionally led on children’s rides). Svardi is an import who arrived in Germany in October 2024 and has been in my possession since March 2025. Unfortunately, I keep my ponies on a trail along a creek with extensive pasture turnout; all pastures are heavily infested with biting midges and horseflies. Despite wearing a rug 24/7 (which he handles very well), he has developed a sweet itch. I have to let him go out of love—preferably to a home with few or no biting midges; an ideal environment would be an active turnout with plenty of wind—such as an open paddock without bushes or trees where midges tend to gather—and always the possibility for him to seek shelter or retreat. Svardi is more of a lower-ranking horse, accustomed to sometimes staying alone when the others go out riding, and he’s very sweet and confident going out alone if needed. PRICE NEGOTIABLE!!! I wish for him to find a life where he can be happy and a person who will keep him safe and loved!
