Sydney is a 4yr old draft cross mare that is very well broke to ride. She has a smooth walk trot and canter. Sydney has been on trail rides in the mountains and goes wherever you point her, through water, over logs and brushy terrian. The first time that we had Syndey in water my 5 yr old daughter rode her in the creek and she didnt hesitate at all. Sydney is very gentle and has a loving attitude. She loves attention and walks up to you in the pasture everytime you call her.
Sydney has been exposed to tarps, bouncy balls and carries the flag. She has been on a 3 day trail ride and has taken it all in stride. Sydney stand to be mounted, tacked up and to be bathed and shod. Our 5 yr old daughter has ridden her in the arena and all over the farm. Sydney is puppydog gentle making her a great partner for almost anybody to ride.
Sydney rides great in or outside the arena and picks up both her leads. She does well in a stall and gets along with other horses in the pasture. She is up to date on farrier, dewormer and had her teeth done this summer. Sydney rides out alone or in a group and is very easy to ride.
