Atlas is a Draft cross Gelding that is 7 years old and stands approximately 15.3 hands tall and thick built, thus he can carry bigger riders. Atlas is one of the coolest horses I have ever had to offer. He will arena ride nicely with a soft easy neck rein, smooth transitions into a trot and lope, will pick up both leads and has a nice stop. He will walk around slow and easy with a nice level head. Outside, Atlas has been my guide horse for the dude ranch I work at. He is absolutely the best trail horse; he’s been in very large groups of horses with zero issues. He will ride in the front, middle, or back just fine. He will also ride out alone with zero issues. Atlas had been throughout all different types of terrain from step hills, mud, rivers, puddles, and rocks. He is a patient horse that doesn’t get worked up about being in strange places or tough riding. Atlas would make a perfect all-around fun horse for any level rider. Pack him down with saddle bags and hit the trails or take him overnight camping or play around with cows, obstacles or arena riding. Atlas is a super chill dude that never says no to anything you throw at him. He will stand quietly tied all day to trailers, cross ties, gates, trees or whatever. He is great to bathe and clip, stands perfect for the farrier and vet. He loads and trailers perfectly. He is easy to catch and very friendly! I can’t say enough good about this boy, I just absolutely adore him! He enjoys doing the cowboy obstacles, watch how he goes through all the obstacles with ease.
