I am looking for a loving new home for my 18-year-old Oldenburg show jumping gelding, preferably in a pasture-based environment with plenty of space (possibly with a box stall at night).  

About the horse:  
Age: 18 years  
Height: 16.1 hh  
Discipline: Competed up to M** level in show jumping, victorious at M*, also competed in eventing up to A level.  
Temperament: Honest, reliable, and well-behaved. A true buddy type.  
Trail safety: Confident both alone and in a group, and well-behaved in handling.  
Farrier- and loading-friendly.  
Socially compatible: Has always been in a mixed herd.  

Note:  
He has kissing spines, which makes dressage work challenging (you need to accept him as he is). With appropriate work and gymnastics, he can still enjoy his riding. He is an excellent teacher in jumping and clears every course from any angle.  

I wish for him a caring home where he can enjoy plenty of movement without high performance pressure—ideal for someone who appreciates an experienced partner for trail riding, jumping, or leisure riding. Since he occasionally coughs, I can also imagine a home near the sea.  

He has been in my possession for 14 years. I am only placing him in the best hands with someone who will give him a wonderful life.
