“Piper” is a stunning 5yr old 15.2h bay mare by the one and only superior western pleasure and leading producing stallion, Lazy Loper!
Piper is out of an own daughter of AQHA multiple champion sire Natural Iron.
This young lady was no accident. She was put on this earth to be this amazing!
DISPOSITION: Piper has the most amazing, in your pocket personality with an “old soul” disposition! Loves people and attention. Loves kisses and muzzle scratches. She will lay her head on your chest and just close her eyes getting loved on! If ever there was a young horse with a “child’s horse” potential.. this would be her! She has been ridden by smaller children with limited experience. She was flawless! A little more whoa than go.
ENGLISH EXPERIENCE: Piper has a very natural way of moving for the English pleasure/ huntseat. She’s got a lovely floating trot and a beautiful flat canter. Piper has also been lightly started in the hunters with limited show miles. She is confidently jumping around 2ft currently with absolutely perfect knees! This young lady is showing a lot of promise in making a phenomenal hunter!
WESTERN EXPERIENCE: Piper has been very well started and lightly shown in the western pleasure, the ranch and the trail. She is extremely honest in the trail and waits for her riders cues. Doesn’t get amped up or excited. Piper is also a phenomenal ranch rider. She can do this in her sleep. She’s just absolutely amazing! From her jog to her lope to her super easy transitions. She packs her head low and level without any fuss or fight.
Piper is also great out on the trails! She’s not easily spooked or bothered by wildlife or common things one might see on a trail ride. Piper is quiet riding anywhere in the pack and she stands tied at the trailer for tacking and untacking like a lady. She doesn’t even mind naughty goats or rambunctious dogs.
UPKEEP: Piper is an easy keeper. She eats 1 1/2 scoops of a basic pellet and alfalfa hay. No supplements or maintenance required to keep her sound.
UTD on everything and wearing front shoes as a personal preference. We do have her in aluminum wedges to enhance her beautiful flat knee movement. She has previously been barefoot without any issue at all!
TURNOUT: Piper is very friendly and bubbly in the turnout. She’s not fussy or mean with other horses. She is quiet and gentle enough to go out with the smallest ponies to the biggest drafts.
GROUND MANNERS: Piper has great ground manners. She can be and has been lead around by small children. She’s careful and watches where she puts her feet. She’s great for washing, grooming, saddling and bridling. She will stand single tied or crosstied.
BAD HABITS/ VICES: Piper has NO bad habits or vices. No buck, rear, bolt, bite or kick.
TACK: Piper rides bareback, English or western. She will ride in a halter, snaffle or even a port bit. She’s not fussy at all!
