Laci has brought so much joy to my family and there are many things to say about her. At 5 years old Laci exceeds all expectations and never finds anything to raise her head over. She is the type that speaks for herself and you just have to meet her to understand what an outstanding mare she is. My 4 year old son takes Laci out to play by himself with no concerns from me. These two lay in the grass, he leads her around everywhere he goes, and he spends hours grooming Laci. Aside from her gentle and safe ground manners she is an absolute dream to ride. Laci is a wonderful trail mount; she is smooth, steady, and so trustworthy. There isn’t anything that has spooked her in the woods or on the highways. I often ride out by myself and she never looks for a friend or minds being alone. We have spent several weekends on wagon trains where she stayed on a high line and in temporary fences. On these rides she can lead, follow, or ride in the middle, she doesn’t mind where she is; she’s just happy to be pleasing someone.
Laci has spent her fair share of days working the stockyards pushing and penning cattle. She side passes to the gates and stays level headed.
Helping out in the pasture has been a huge part of her days and she always held anything she was dallied to.
If you want to spend your weekends in the arena, Laci has all of the buttons you need to excel in ranch riding, English, or trail obstacles. She catches her leads, has a beautiful transition into a canter from a walk, trot, or stand still. Laci carry’s a level head or will break at the poll. She has a steady jog that can be extended into a trot easily. She neck reins, side passes, and backs with no fuss.
You do not have to be an experienced horse owner to get along with Laci. Her consistency of gentle and quiet ensures safety for anyone to learn. Laci has zero vices and is 100% sound.
