🤓Smarty is an AQHA registered dappled buckskin mare that is a 🏆 Finished winning tie down calf roping and breakaway roping mare. This is one you don’t see come up for sale very often. She is at the prime age of just 13 yrs old and stands the perfect size of 14.3 hands tall. Not too big but not too small. If you are looking to win, this is your girl. Smarty would be ideal for a high school kid or college kid that wants to compete and win. She has been owned and trained by a 75 yr old man. He competed and won a lot riding her. She is a fancy girl. You talk about all the bells and whistles on her. She has all the athletic ability you could want in one. She spins, slides, and runs to one. She is fast and quick. Don’t get me wrong. She is super quiet and easy to ride but when you are roping calves in the arena she is in there to WIN. She has also been used in the team shorting and amateur cutting classes. She can do it all. And she loves it. She has been well trained and is very versatile. She had an excellent foundation put on her when she was younger. She has been used out on a ranch and has all the real world experiences. She is the total package. Which also is a plus that she is really broke and easy to ride. She is that old school foundation one hand broke. So if roping is not your thing you can use her trail ride or ride around the ranch to check your cows. We have took her out of the trails and rode her through town. She is perfect. She is not spooky, crosses water, bridges, sure footed. No bad habits at all. Been rode by all ages.
