Tonka is a 9 year old grade palomino gelding standing 15 hands tall and stout. Tonka is easy to look at and catches looks everywhere he goes! He is easy to catch, leads, loads, ties, bathes and stands good for the farrier. Down the trails, through town, in the arena, Tonka is dependable! I have a lot of favorites but Tonka puts the topping on the cake. He’s super sweet and easy to get along with!
Out on the trails Tonka will go through anything you ask him to. Weather that be steep ditches, deep water, or big logs, he does it with no hesitation! We have taken him on overnight camping trips and he does great on the road as well.
In the arena Tonka will walk, trot, and lope with ease. He is super smooth, takes his correct leads, and stops well. He has a nice one handed neck rein and is easy to handle. He will carry the flag and cross the tarp with no hesitation, we have also carried party balloons on him!
Tonka would be best suited for an advanced beginner rider and above. He is super sweet, 100% sound and ready for his new home!
