Crash Bandicoot was a video game that debuted in the late 90’s which followed a brave, fun loving, highly trained character who was trying to save the world… Crashin Bandicoot aka Quincy might not be trying to save the world but maybe he could save your riding career? Much like the video game Quincy is fearless, a super fun loving horse that is friendly and he is superbly trained! Quincy is a STOUT built, Golden Palomino, standing 14.3h, a 2017 model registered AQHA Gelding who has a very impressive pedigree! He is an own son of one of the hottest sires in the industry, Dual Smart Rey and out of a One Time Pepto mare. Quincy is a trained cutting horse, has been shown in the cutting pen and will be shown up to sale time. When working cows, Quincy is calculated and precise in all movements. He reads his rider just as much as he reads the cow, while still being quiet and forgiving. He knows when to slow down but is just as prepared to buckle up and chase down some rerun cattle! It’s easy to see how much Quincy loves his job when he’s working the cattle and he aims to please. He makes an easy matching partner in the show pen as he is always willing and ready to work for his rider. In addition to the show pen, Quincy rides great in the arena he lopes nice circles, takes the correct leads, spins around and has a great stop. He has been used in all aspects of ranch work, pasture roping and doctoring. He is a finished rope horse on the heel side as he has roped at jackpots from Texas to Arizona with numerous wins. He leaves the box flat footed, tracks the steer correctly, gives his rider an easy shot at the heels every time and when the rope goes past him, he is ready to lock it down and stop on a dime. Away from the arena, roping and cutting pen, Quincy is a phenomenal trail horse as he will just ease along down the trails with not a care in the world, totally relaxed! He handles all obstacles in his path from steep slopes to crossing deadfall, slick surfaces, rocky terrain, creeks, ditches and deep water. He is traffic safe and has been ridden through town. He has been desensitized to noisy tarps, bouncy balls and bullwhips. Quincy has been used for the grand entry, carrying the American Flag at rodeos. The loud music, spot lights and roaring crowds do not phase him at all as he loves to be the center of attention. Quincy enjoys a good spa day, getting scrubbed, cleaned up and braided head to heels. Quincy is bred to be a performance horse, has the heart to be a family horse, has the mind to do anything that is asked of him and you mix it all together and wrap it in a golden palomino package… you will find the horse of a lifetime!
