Elmer is a unique 15.2 hand Fjord/QH cross gelding. He is 6 years old and as cool as they come! He walks, jogs, and lopes nicely in the arena and outside. He has countless hours of experience on a large cattle ranch in MS. He was the owner’s main mount. He will neck rein, side pass, open and close gaits, and of course do necessary work with the cows from doctoring to loading trucks. You can ride him bridleless, he has a nice handle, and is a joy to have in the barn. He is quiet and gentle and rides the same everyday. He is also excellent on the trails. He crosses natural obstacles with ease including water, bridges, banks, and logs. We have ridden Elmer in town and is traffic safe including motorcycles, scooters, and baby strollers. He loves people walking up and petting him too. He stands well for the farrier and vet. Everywhere we take him, Elmer catches the attention of others for his handsome looks and cool demeanor.
