Meet Wolf , an absolutely beautiful 8 year old sorrel and white paint gelding that stands at a perfect 14.2 hands tall who is fresh off of a 6,000 acre ranch in South Dakota! Wolf is the perfect size & demeanor for absolutely anybody…from the littlest of cowkids (2 years old to be exact, all the way up to their 82 year old grandpa) Wolf can be the main mount for anyone and everyone! Not everyday do you come across geldings like Wolf , he is one that has seen hundreds of days that started before the hot sun was even peeking over the horizon and worked an honest days work until it disappeared at sunset. He has seen days that were simple and easy and where he was just needing to be calm, cool, and trusty for his little cowboys & cowgirls. He has seen an array of different task and that is exactly why he is the horse he is today! True ranch horses are the most versatile horses you could ever ask for because they have seen a little bit of everything and can excel in many different disciplines due to them knowing how to handle new & different challenging task that are asked of them everyday. Whether it be cutting, reining, barrels, breakaway, team roping, or even putting them under english tack …. They can be taken from the everyday ranching grind and excel in any direction because they know how to handle themselves in new unknown situations and accomplish the goal that is set in front of them. To make Wolf even better, he is not just all brains either, this gelding has the absolute best demeanor on and off the ground! He is definitely what you would call the “in your pocket” type as he will be the first to meet you when calling him up from the 360 acre pasture the stay in and also allows you to instantly put his halter on and hop on for a ride to the barn! He also gets along easily in a herd and is a friendly friend to all who are around him. As see in the video, Wolf stands politely for the farrier and is also a perfect gentleman to bathe and groom. This gelding is so calm and is as honest as the day is long PLUS all the color you could ever ask for and allllllll the curves in alllllll the right places!
