Milo is a 7 yr old, Palomino, Quarter Horse gelding, standing at a rider friendly 14 hands. Experienced on the trail, brave and enthusiastic over jumps! An excellent choice for an experienced kid or adult amateur seeking a potential cross country mount!
Milo is my daughter’s first choice when it comes to weekend camping & trail riding trips with her friends. He has accompanied her frequently on rides at various national and state parks, a horse that I can always trust that he’ll get her there and back safely. He’s surefooted, crosses water, confidently navigates wooded paths and various terrain. Milo ties overnight on a tie line & rides alone or in a group.
Milo is forward and responsive, but never hot or spooky. He travels both directions on the correct lead, transitions nicely, & is a comfortable ride. We’ve taken Milo over cross rails at home & natural obstacles on the trail. He is confident over both, has natural ability, and really enjoys the challenge!
Milo is an asset here at home. He’s helped us gather cattle alongside working stock dogs, opens & closes gates, and provides entertainment for the kids. You’ll notice my lil riding partner, Adley, in Milo’s video. Adley is 6 and she is able to lead, tie, groom, and even load & unload Milo on her own. Adley rides Milo in the arena, across fields, and out on the trail.
