Skipper is the type of horse that enjoys the kids dolling up on him. He has a walk, trot and lope that is smooth as silk. He is great out on the trail, carefully placing his feet to take care of his rider in any situation. He has a wonderful personality, if you are looking for a horse to bond with, and spend time with outside of riding- Skipper is your guy. Skipper has a one handed neck rein, and will move willingly off of your leg cues. He has been hauled around the country, and ridden in the arena for a versatile handle. He gets along great with the other horses in the pasture, and has no vices pulling him out of the stall on Monday morning. Skipper stands quietly for the farrier, and will ground tie until you tell him differently. He is the perfect size for a rider with bad knees, as he is easy to get on and off on the trail.
