Double registered (AQHA/APHA) gelding, safe for the whole family! Meet Primo, a gorgeous 4-year-old sorrel gelding with a flaxen mane and tail. Chromed out with a unique blaze and four white socks, he turns heads everywhere he goes!
Sired by SPOOKS GOTTA GUN ($81,637 NRHA) and out of NCHA money producing mare JEWELS MAGNOLIA (sired by LENAS JEWEL BARS $70,656 NCHA). He has a clean genetic panel.
Professionally started, Primo has a solid reining foundation and was then trained by multiple CMSA World Champion cowgirl Tammy Sronce for cowboy mounted shooting. He has successfully competed throughout 2026 in the mounted shooting arena, a money earner at every competition. Primo was hauled extensively to gain experience, and has wins in ranch riding, ranch trail and horsemanship! Primo hauls quietly, carries flags and he was even decorated in Christmas lights for the evening downtown Christmas Parade of Lights!
Primo is one of the most easy-going guys you’ll meet! He is happy in a stall, or he can live with other horses in the pasture. He is easy to catch, saddle, mount and wash. He walks on a soft rein, jogs, and lopes. He will collect in the bridle, back, spin, and move laterally. He’s smooth to ride across all gaits. He’ll side pass logs, go over bridges and jump. Swing a rope off him, shoot guns off him, pick up barrels on him and move them around the arena. Ride him bareback, ride double, he couldn’t care less. You’ll never guess he was only 4 years old!
Compete off him in mounted shooting and ranch riding or take him trail riding. The hard work is done, now he is ready to enjoy. Whatever you want to do, he’s your guy!
