Caddy Lil Acre AKA Nikko is a 2010 AQHA palomino gelding standing 15.0HH tall. If you’re looking for a new best friend to enjoy life with, travel to many of places, and up for all the adventures, Nikko is your horse!
Nikko has been a best friend for a beginner rider for the past 10 years, traveling all around south Texas trail riding, riding next to traffic and so much more! He has done all the extreme obstacles and nothing phases him. He has been exposed to cattle, goats, wildlife, and dogs! Nikko is fantastic riding in a group setting and prefers to be a follower in the pack! He will go anywhere you point him or where the horse infront of him goes! He goes through water, over logs and obstacles, bridges, pool noodles, and so much more! He has a great forward walk for those looking to cover ground and he could even be great for an endurance type rider!
We have ridden Nikko in town next to traffic, around loud music, and a carnival with no problems! He will ride on property, or he also does well loading up and heading to nearby forest trails!
In the arena, Nikko was started correctly and still shows it today. He will WTC both directions, catch his leads, back up and neck rein. He will collect up on the bridle with two hands, and could easily show in some local fun shows with some more polishing. He has a great stride as well as a solid “woah” stop. Nikko is great for someone with confidence in the arena possibility wanting something to do payday events on! The trainer that started Nikko also had him working on liberty and riding bridleless and could easily continue those skills with someone willing to play and refresh him on them! He will do the entire obstacle courses liberty!
At the barn Nikko is easy. He has no crib, weave or bite. He is great for the farrier, loads and unloads, easy to catch and more. He is in the middle / top of the pecking order but does get along well with mares or geldings. He will be the first to meet you at the gate! He loves treats and is an easy keeper! He requires no maintenance, and is UTD on everything.
