Turtle ist ein weit gereistes Pferd, das in mehreren Bundesstaaten von South Dakota bis Pennsylvania geritten wurde und als Ranchpferd eingesetzt wurde. Vom Hüten über das Sortieren bis hin zum Weideseilen und Doctoring ist Turtle stark genug, um alles zu ziehen, was man mit einem Seil anlegen kann! Er ist in mehreren Bundesstaaten geritten und hat Campingausflüge unternommen. Er überquert Bäche, Gräben, Baumstämme und navigiert durch unwegsame, felsige Gebiete. Die Schildkröte fährt sicher im Straßenverkehr. Er hat ein geschmeidiges Joggen, eine schöne Lope, rutscht mit Leichtigkeit und kehrt zurück! Die Schildkröte ist allen Arten von Wildtieren wie Hirschen oder Truthähnen oder anderen Tieren wie Kühen oder Hunden ausgesetzt und geht überall hin, wo sie darum gebeten wird. Er wurde viele Meilen in den Bergen von Ost-Kentucky geritten und ist auf dem Trail auf jedes mögliche Hindernis gestoßen. Er geht selbst die steilsten Hänge hinauf oder hinunter, über tiefe Bäche, über umgestürzte Bäume und über alle Arten von unwegsamem Gelände, während er immer noch trittsicher ist. Check out White Rock Custom Saddles on Facebook A Turtle Man is a big built, 1250lb, standing around 15.2hh, 11-year-old, Palomino Quarter Horse Gelding. Turtle is a well traveled horse that has been ridden in several states from South Dakota to Pennsylvania and has been used as a ranch horse. From herding to sorting, pasture roping and doctoring, Turtle is stout enough to pull anything that you can throw a rope on! He has been trail ridden in several states and been on camping trips. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Turtle is a great horse for the whole family to ride and he will help build your confidence levels! We took Turtle to the school’s carnival for “pony” rides and had approx 75 different kids ride Turtle. Of course there were kids running all around, under his neck, right behind his tail, there was plenty of sights to see as we were right by the dunking booth where they were throwing baseballs and dunking people in the water, lots of laughter and yelling as you would expect but nothing bothered Turtle. Turtle is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop and backs with ease! Turtle has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked to. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He comes by his name honest!
