Tonka
Tonka is a 12yr old gelding standing 14.3 hh. He is put together like a dump truck and is built to last. He is a professional trail horse deluxe, he came off a working dude ranch in mountains. There he gave rides to people with little to no experience and got them back safely and happy every time.
If you want a been there done that, tried and trued trail partner, Tonka is your man. He is just as great on the ground as he is in the saddle, he loves being groomed and getting attention, he is a barn favorite. When he is laying down in the stall or the field, you can go right in and lay there right with him, he is a big teddy bear!
In the arena, he has three smooth gates and lopes off easily in both directions.
He would be the perfect 4-h or pony club mount. He has the brain and temperament that makes him the perfect family or kids horse.
On the trails he is as solid as they come.
You point his head in any direction and he will go no matter what obstacles are in his way, if there is a path he will find it.
Tonka has good strong feet and rides barefoot, he behaves well for the farrier and vet. He is an overall pleasure to have in the barn.
