“Hunter” is by the Hall of fame, national and grand champion stallion The Hunter!
“Hunter” belongs to my daughter and this opportunity comes with a heavy heart!
We bought Hunter for my kiddo for Christmas. We’ve known Hunter for many years and we know all his ins and outs and how much talent he has. Unfortunately Autumn is just not physically big enough (she’s 4’10) to really stick with Hunter over the jumps and she cannot properly ride and release him. So we will be looking for a smaller ride for her. This is the ONLY reason we are parting with this AMAZING gelding!!
Hunter has been successfully shown with points and/or miles in showmanship, hunters, working hunters, EQ and jumpers. Hunter is as solid as they come and right at home in the show ring. He’s excellent in traffic with no bad habits or quirks. Hunter has the most beautiful/ smooth lead changes as well!! Never misses a lead and transitions like a pro!!
Hunter is quiet and gentle enough to be used in a lesson program. He’s amazingly easy to flat and build confidence on.
Hunter is also great out on the trails. He’s not spooky or silly acting and will ride out alone or in a group.
Hunter is treated like a king! My kiddo dotes on him daily. He’s easy to get along with and has no bad habits or vices. He stands single tied or crosstied and stands like a saint at the mounting block
Rides English, western and bareback with halter and lead rope
He stands like a saint for the farrier and loads and hauls great.
Sound with no maintenance. PPE’s welcome.
UTD on absolutely everything!
Gets along with others in the pasture and comes running to the gate when you call his name!
Currently eating 1 1/2 scoops of a basic pellet twice a day and free choice alfalfa
