Caballo de raza Foundation Appaloosa, potro, con diagnóstico veterinario

We are offering our beautiful Foundation Appaloosa gelding, color: Black Leopard.  
Height: 153 cm (15.3 hh).  

A pure Foundation Appaloosa with no crossbreeding.  
Original breed.  
He was raised very naturally and was only recently backed.  

He was trained from the ground using Natural Horsemanship and classical riding methods by the breeder.  
He is just 12 years old, has been backed (previously a breeding stallion), and is very patient and gentle.  
He understands rider’s aids, but still has room to learn.  

He can be led and groomed by small children and is very gentle and attentive with them.  

My 11-year-old daughter can ride him alone at the walk and trot in the arena.  
He is familiar with a bit, but it causes him some stress, so he is ridden in a bitless bridle and behaves well.  
Riding out alone would require some practice; we mainly did guided walks with a child on board and training in the arena.  

He has a wonderful character, is very affectionate and cuddly once he has gotten to know his humans well.  
Probably because he has never had any bad experiences.  
He is truly a sweetheart temperament-wise and wants to please his handler.  
No vices such as biting, striking, rearing, or bucking.  

Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with arthritis/spavin.  
Therefore, he is offered at a reduced price, as flare-ups can occur.  
Current X-rays are available.  

On softer ground than ours, he will find it easier to move.  

We wish for him to have a place with plenty of movement, preferably an open stable or active herd, that meets his needs.  

He is barefoot, has excellent, straight, healthy teeth, and has always been dewormed with lab-tested selective treatments.  
He tolerates pasture and hay ad libitum.
