Tolles Geländepferd

For sale is my dear Irish Sport Horse gelding, Dasch. He is approximately 16.2 hands tall and 8 years old. Unfortunately, I lack the time to give him the attention he deserves. 

Initially, Dasch can be a bit sensitive and reserved around unfamiliar people, but he quickly warms up with treats and would go through fire for someone he trusts. He has been ridden in all three basic gaits and is confident and brave both alone and in a group when hacking out. He is familiar with herd life but can only be kept with geldings, as he still finds mares very appealing (he was gelded late). Grooming and riding are no problem with mares. He is very playful with geldings. 

When mounting, he can be a bit nervous but is never nasty; once mounted, everything is fine—no bucking or rearing. Dasch is being offered at a very reasonable price because he occasionally tics in trot when ridden, due to an old tendon injury with scar tissue. He has no pain; the tissue is just uncomfortable for him, and after a short time, the tic in trot disappears, and he moves normally. All veterinary checks have been completed. 

He is sold purely as a leisure horse, ideally as a relaxed trail riding partner. Dasch loads calmly into the trailer and travels quietly. He has been regularly shod and introduced to the farrier without issues, and is currently full-shod. He is vaccinated and regularly dewormed.
