Milo is a wonderful friend and I am looking for his human friend. Please no requests from schools or dealers. Thank you. I would like Milo to be kept in a species-appropriate environment with natural exercise opportunities. He can put on a bit of weight if not trained enough, but he is not extremely easy to feed.

If you want to take Milo on long, extended rides and trail rides, then he will be happiest. He has a real marathon gene and loves to be out and about. I suspect he has a high proportion of Arabian in his blood. In terms of movement, however, he is a Spaniard through and through. He has a wonderful uphill canter, his first canter with him was like riding a seahorse. My long-term riding partner said that he was the best horse she had ever ridden in terms of riding feeling. She has also ridden my PRE and previously my wonderful Arabian stallion, both really wonderful riding horses.

On the one hand he is totally courageous, but on the other hand he needs someone who can also lead with technical precision. So please, by no means beginners, newcomers or people like me who are perhaps no longer sporty enough. If you want him because of his beauty but are not interested in his character, you've come to the wrong place. I'm sure he needs his one person (no changing riders) and unfortunately I can't give him that, as my other horse was there before him, which I also love very much.

Due to my health condition, he has been ridden since mid-October and is going very well! Even though he can now do all three gaits solidly in the arena, I'm not sure whether this will really become his favorite playground. He's doing great, he's always happy when you want to do something with him, set him tasks and does really well in the arena. At this point, sellers like to say "the horse has go"! He does, he has a temperament, but he can also gallop around with you like a serene school pony. He can have too much go in canter if the instructions aren't right and you don't give him a framework and direction. That can all change, but certainly only with a very good rider who simply knows how to do it. If I was 15 years younger, I would certainly be a great match for him. On the other hand, a friend of mine has ridden him very well, even on a trail ride, who is not so technically experienced, but is very soft, attentive and deeply relaxed. I just trust that the two of you will find each other when you are right for each other.

Milo has always been in top condition in the four years he has been with me since he was imported from Spain. He is wormed regularly and has his teeth done every 1-2 years.
