“Waylon” is an 8 year old solid APHA gelding (He is able to be AQHA registered as well we just have not sent it off). He is strong and built to tackle any task you set in front of him standing 16.3 hands tall and weighing in at 1400 pounds! Waylon is easy to get along with and enjoyable to ride. He moves off of leg pressure, neck reins, rides nicely both in and out of the arena and can be ridden both western and english. Ride him everyday or give him a month off and he will ride off the same every time. Waylon will cross water, ride through brush, step over logs, cross ditches, and handles chaos around him with composure and willingness. He is truly the definition of a gentle giant and would sit in your lap for pets if given the chance!
Waylon can be turned out in a pasture or kept in a stall. He is the first one at the gate, easy to handle, and gets along with other horses.
Waylon has been shown in Western Trail, Ranch Riding, Showmanship, Halter, and Hunter Under Saddle. He has pushed cattle in open fields, started roping the sled and given lessons to beginner riders.
Waylon has no bad habits or vices, stands for the farrier, baths, and tacking, and will load in and out of the trailer by himself. He is sound and UTD on vaccines.
